Who is Liable to Pay Income Tax

Difference Between Filer & Non-Filer
Filer:
A Filer is a person or business who submits their income tax return to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). After filing, your name is included in the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and you are officially recognized as a taxpayer in Pakistan.
non-filer:
a Non-Filer is a person or entity that does not file tax returns and is not included in the ATL. As a result, non-filers are subject to higher withholding tax rates, increased transaction costs, and potential regulatory limitations in areas such as banking, property dealings, and vehicle registration.
Income Tax on Salary
Income tax on salary is the tax deducted from the income earned by employees. In Pakistan, employers usually deduct tax at source and submit it to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
